I'm excited to share that I am having a show in Show Low, AZ at the Talon Gallery of the Northland Pioneer College. I will have several of my sculptures on display from October 30 - December 1, 2017. I will also be giving an artist demonstration and artist talk in the Aspen Center, Room 104 and 110, Monday, October 30 from 4-8pm.

“My recent works are a response to prior life experiences. From my time as an assistant to Don Reitz and my instructional moments with students in the classroom to my solo turn in the studio, I have continued to experiment with a variety of firing processes. Atmospheric firing, for example, produces a unique, layered quality on the ceramic surface. I have dabbled with using sandblasting as a reductive technique to imitate a similar effect. This body of work is a variation of my past, an acknowledgment of the present, and my anticipation of the future.”
